This Privacy Policy explains how Appliance Leads LLC, doing business as Appliance Care Line ("we", "us"), collects, uses and protects personal information when you call us, receive a text message from us, email us or visit appliancecareline.com.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, phone number, email address and service address.
- Details of your repair request: the appliance, the problem and your preferred arrival window.
- Call and message records: phone number, date and time of calls and text messages, and their content when needed to handle your request. Calls to our call center may be recorded.
- Basic technical data when you visit this website, such as browser type and IP address, as logged by our hosting provider.
How we use information
- To take, schedule and follow up on your repair request.
- To contact you about that request by phone, email or text message.
- To pass the details of your request to the partner technician who performs the repair.
- To review call recordings for quality, training and resolving disputes.
- To keep records required by law and to prevent fraud.
Text messages (SMS)
We send a text message only if you agreed to it when our operator confirmed your phone number during your call, and only about your own repair request: if the call is disconnected before your visit is booked, we ask you to call us back. We send at most one message per disconnected call. Agreeing to receive texts is optional and is not a condition of getting a repair. Message and data rates may apply. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Sharing
We share your name, address, phone number and repair details with the partner technician assigned to your repair (an independent business), so that they can perform it. We also use service providers that operate our phone, messaging, hosting and computer systems on our behalf, and we disclose information when required by law. We do not share your information with other third parties for their marketing. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not use your information for targeted advertising.
Retention
We keep information, including call recordings, only for as long as needed to handle your request, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations, and then delete it.
Security
We protect personal information with reasonable technical and organizational measures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the state where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to appeal our decision on your request. We will verify the request and respond within the time required by law. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP.
Children
Our service is for adults arranging home appliance repairs. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if we learn that we have, we delete it.
